New oil slime processing unit has been put into operation at JSC Slavneft-YANOS

New module oil slime processing unit of Flottweg Company (Germany) with the capacity 5-12 cubic meter per hour was put into operation on December, 29 at JSC Slavneft-YANOS. The unit will fully cover the refinery's need for the utilization of wastes which are formed as a result of oil products output and replace the off-market unit "Alfa Laval" (Sweden) of the same type that has been operated for 25 years and is decommissioned at the moment.

The specific feature of the technology suggested by Flottweg is in oil-slime one-stage sectioning into 3 components: oil phase, water and solid precipitation. Upon that oil phase returns into processing, water after being carefully treated at the treatment plant is dropped into discharge channel, solid precipitation is used for the recultivation. The contents of hydrocarbons in oil phase are 98-99%, which indicates high effectiveness of the technology applied.

Besides, new unit is equipped with the improved control system of technological process.

The preparation of site, installation and precommissioning of the new unit were performed within a year. The General Contractor was Koksohimmontazh-Volga ltd with the participation representatives from Flottweg Moscow office.

Putting into operation new modern oil slime processing unit is the next step for decreasing negative influence of industrial production on environment and increasing YANOS ecological safety level.
